Business Intelligence System Analyst - 8 month contract Mississauga HybridSalary up to $80,000AX - D365 Trouble shooter Position function: Reporting to the IT Director of Canada Inc., the individual will work within the IT Business Applications Team and has overall responsibility to understand how Clients existing suite of applications function in technical detail in order to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve end user support requests as well as design/propose software enhancements and process refinements.The Business Systems Analyst's role is provide support and solutions to business challenges for users in various locations across North America. This role must understand both the functional and technical aspects of client suite of business applications and bridge the gap between the business and IT. The individual will be responsible for identifying solutions, coordinating and interacting with colleagues including business stakeholders, key users, system administrators, developers and vendors to drive issue resolution, ensure system availability as well as streamline processes and workflows.The individual will work with the existing ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, as well as Infor PLM and other enterprise business applications. In addition to maintaining and refining the current suite of applications, the individual will also play a key role in the implementation of a new CRM tool Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance and Supply Chain.Major tasks and duties:Responsible for delivery of end-to-end support to users of various business applications with a focus on excellent customer serviceManage assigned incidents and support requests through the incident management lifecycle including investigation, design of an appropriate fix or workaround, testing and implementation of the resolutionPerform analysis of commonly reported issues to help identify and propose improvements to prevent issues and refine applications and processesResponsible for analyzing and evaluating present or proposed business procedures or problems to define business system and data processing needsIdentify and recommend system improvements and process optimizations/automations then work to implement these recommendationsTranslate complex business requirements and business processes into relevant functional and technical specifications and related business system design documentsResponsible for the development and implementation of test plans and testing procedures as well as test script creation and execution.Responsible for the creation and execution of training plans, creation of training materials and the coordination and delivery of end-user training sessionsCommunicate regularly and maintain proactive relationships with end users for day-to-day support purposesLiaise with internal resources and External Consultants and communicate appropriately to all involved partiesEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP's and HACCP requirementsKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience with Business Analysis relating to IT Projects or Software migrationsPost-Secondary Degree required (IT or related preferred)Working towards a CBAP or PMP certification is assetGood communication and presentation skills and full command of the English Language (Written/Spoken) Food and Beverage Manufacturing
