We are delighted to be working again with our global client who specialises in precision food packaging manufacturing with a brilliant opportunity to join the team as a permanent full-time Depalletiser Coordinator, based in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay. About the Role Reporting to the Warehouse and Depalletiser Team Leader, this role operates as part of a 5 day rotating roster across a 3 week shift pattern, and whilst shifts are 12 hours long, there is plenty of down time for your lifestyle. The role entails multifaceted responsibilities including Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, efficient manning of depalletisers, warehouse management, training, quality assurance, administration, changeovers, track emptying procedures, and addressing breakdowns. It’s all about work ethic, attention to detail and productivity here, so if you have warehousing or high speed food manufacturing experience, an understanding of food safety requirements, experience with following SOPs, are physically fit and a strong communicator, our client is more than happy to train you in other facets of the role.11th March, 2024

Typical responsibilities:- Handling, moving and supplying light steel products using various techniques
- Carrying out procedural changeovers and emptying trackwork and troubleshooting breakdowns
- Optimizing staff utilization, managing staffing for various situations, providing cover for roles as needed, and planning work orders
- Maintaining accurate stock records/movements, ensuring warehouse cleanliness
- Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices
- Experience working in a warehouse or high speed food manufacturing environment.
- Operating basic machinery
- Customer service focused with good computer literacy and strong communication skills
- Current forklift drivers license and endorsement
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices
- Knowledge of Food Safety Systems
- Reliable, a great work attitude, fit and healthy
