The Group Financial Controller plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic direction of our diversified Group. You will be responsible for leading a dynamic, fast paced and pragmatic Finance Function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across all subsidiaries, providing strategic financial insights to support informed decision-making, and driving financial performance and business growth for the entire organization. Key Responsibilities :   

  • Partner with the Group President and executive leadership team to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that support the overall business objectives of the Group.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process to track performance, identify opportunities for growth, and manage financial risks across all subsidiaries.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making regarding mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and investment strategies.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reporting across all subsidiaries in accordance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead the consolidation process for the Group's financial statements, ensuring a clear and accurate representation of the overall financial health of the organization.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to CFOs and finance teams within each subsidiary through a hands on, practical approach.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across all subsidiaries.
  • Develop and implement effective capital allocation strategies to optimize resource utilization and maximize shareholder value.
  • Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performing finance team across the Group.
Requirements :  
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within a large, multi-industry Group.
  • Possess a degree in accountancy or equivalent educational certification.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and a strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting standards.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams having thrived in a complex organisation with multiple business entities.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable financial strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions, financial analysis, presentation skills, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of diligence and initiative.
  • Aggressive, visionary, and willing to take a calculated risk for dynamic business growth.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Attentive to details, alert, and capable of identifying business growth & cost-saving opportunity as well as process improvement alternative.
