Te Tūranga | About the role As a Team Leader - Water Education Programmes you will play a key role in our City Waters division by leading our small but mighty Waters Education and Advisory team. This role will bring to life new and existing projects and campaigns to enhance and expand the education programme in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships in our community andget creative by developing and implementing new initiatives while ensuring that current programmes deliver sustainable water use. Key duties will include;
- Proactive leadership and development of your team
- Bringing to life new project outcomes and managing existing programmes
- Engaging with the community
- Strategic planning and implementation of the Waterline plan
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A Tertiary level qualification in environmental management, communications or community engagement.
- Understanding of the three water environment
- Leading a team
- Experience in developing or implementing behaviour change initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, people and prioritise tasks and initiatives from conception to completion.
