Role summary As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will help LSEG's existing customers make the best use of our products and data. You will build the conditions for contract renewals, thus allowing LSEG to retain and grow its market share & revenue. The role combines relationship management, customer education, and deep functional expertise. We are hiring an Associate Customer Success Manager with specialism in Asset Management, Wealth Management and/or Investment Banking. The successful candidate will participate in an immersive on-boarding program to learn the Customer Success role and the respective specialized product lines, before being assigned a book of business. What you'll do

  • Partner with clients to define what success means for them, then help them make use of LSEG products and data to achieve their targets
  • Act as a go-to person and provide subject matter expertise to clients in your portfolio
  • Educate customers on how to use our products, content, and technologies in a manner that is tailored to their specific needs
  • Monitor usage, health gauges and competitive landscape to craft a client retention strategy
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with decision makers at each of your customers
  • Bring in client intelligence and feedback
  • Work together with other teams at LSEG, such as Account Managers or Product Development, to ensure we are addressing our customers' needs
  • Find cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and connect with Sales team
  • Lead routine projects, such a product upgrades or new content introductions

Qualifications and skills
  • An emerging candidate with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Background in finance, economics, accounting, or computer engineering background is helpful
  • 1-6 years of work experience in financial services industry. Experience in wealth management, asset management, banking or other financial advisory roles is a plus
  • With a passion for building client relationships
  • Interested in the financial markets, and Customer Success subject area
  • Collaborative, effective communicator, and a customer-first attitude
  • Experience facilitating customer meetings and addressing an audience in a concise, inspirational and convincing manner. Ability to articulate value in front of clients
  • Strong project management, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of - or willingness to learn -APIs and Python programming language
