In this role, you’ll report to the Commercial Head of Operations in country and be managing and optimizing targeted financial results on major projects, supporting the project team on the commercial and contractual elements of the project with duties including negotiating terms, managing claims and administering sub contracts How you’ll make an impact Identify, evaluate, and assess risks and opportunities, and strategize response activities. Administer subcontracts on a day-to-day basis, manage final account settlements, and provide updates to the Commercial Head of Operations. Perform contract analysis for change order and claim potential, and write and implement the Subcontract change and claims strategies. Provide expert advice to project and site management in executing contracts and subcontracts. Pursue or defend claims based on collection of relevant project records. Lead site-based Quantity Surveyor(s) according to the Business Conduct Guidelines. Cooperate with Project Managers, Site Management, and the wider project team. Provide support to the legal team by substantiating relevant facts necessary for quantum and/or time. Ensure efficient communication with all relevant internal stakeholders. Actively gather information on Supply Chain strategies, requirements, and targets regarding commercial aspects. Build relationships with Supplier's commercial management and participate in lessons learnt in relation to supply chain conditions of contract. Develop and improve contract and claim management processes. What you bring Extensive experience with Contract Management and/or commercial project management / business administration. Experience working on major EPC or complex construction projects Experience in setting up and negotiating terms and conditions of sub contracts. Experience in project budgeting, financial management of risk, opportunities, and claims. Competency in Claim Management, Conflict Management, and Commercially Competent including an understanding of the principles of contract law. Qualified accountant with a track record of financially and commercially managing complex projects. Competency in liaising with and managing the expectations of senior management and key stakeholders. About the Team Who is Siemens Energy?
