Our client, a US-Headquartered Prop Trading firm, is expanding their Core Development and R&D teams and are seeking a Low Latency Optimization Engineer to help with this growth. This is a brand-new team managing special projects within the firm. The right person will be working closely with trading team leaders and senior stakeholders based in the US, so strong communications in English are a must. This global team of technologists excel in various areas, from enhancing the core trading engine to developing specialized hardware. By combining software and hardware engineering, data science, and research, they create the necessary infrastructure and tools to support the trading and business requirements. The firm is seeking individuals who can collaborate across teams to tackle challenging technical issues in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Financial experience in a hedge fund/prop trading firm is preferred but they are open to strong C++ technologists outside of the industry who are eager to diversify.
