Associate System Engineer

Job Summary: Hiring an Associate System Engineer to manage server & storage operations, assist in tech upgrades, and ensure IT security compliance. Requires 2-3 years' experience in Linux/Windows OS administration, familiarity with cloud platforms, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Server (Virtualization, Linux, Windows) and Storage (SAN & NAS) operations and administration, ensuring compliance with IT Security policies and IT Best Practices (e.g., ITIL processes).
• Participate in technology architecture design, upgrades, and day-to-day operations of Server and Storage systems.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT Automation and Orchestration.
• Diagnose and resolve system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs and other available resources.
• Maintain system environments in compliance with security guidelines and assist with testing, implementation, and installation of subsystems and associated software.
• Install, customize, and administer system and application tools running on Servers.
• Perform problem analysis and resolution implementation to support system and application needs

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in designing, administering, and maintaining servers/storage based on Linux OS (SuSE, Red Hat), and Windows OS with knowledge in disk storage and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker Containers, Kubernetes, and setting up/managing commercial cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
• Exposure to Infrastructure As Code and IT Automation Tools such as Ansible, Puppet is a plus.
• Willingness to work beyond business hours, including weekends when necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in written and oral English.
