Job Responsibilities Responsibilities
- Analyse, design and implement technological solutions for transaction banking processes in alignment with business requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in both technology and functional aspects related to CASA and/or Lending operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking systems
- Evaluate and optimize workflows, proposing and implementing process improvements for efficiency and risk mitigation
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and external vendors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular training session for end-users to ensure effective utilization of transaction banking tools and systems
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting cash management and provide strategic insights to management
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding of requirements on both sides
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting and provide post-implementation support for transaction banking solutions
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure the implementation of robust security measures for transaction banking systems
- Degree in a Finance, or IT related discipline
- Proven experience in a techno-functional role within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on CASA and/or Lending
- Strong understanding of transaction banking processes, liquidity management and treasury operations
- Proficiency in relevant technologies, such as banking platforms, CASA/lending systems and financial software
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management practices in the banking sector
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead and execute initiatives from conception to completion
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
