Job Description Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day support for trade floor operations and applications. - Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to trade floor systems, applications, and infrastructure. - Ensure timely resolution of incidents and minimize impact on trading activities. - Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and deployments. - Perform system health checks, log analysis, and performance tuning. - Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system availability and performance. - Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues. - Document support procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in IT production support, preferably in a trading floor environment. - Strong understanding of financial markets and trading processes. - Experience with trade floor applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and trading platforms. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation and monitoring. - Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure. - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Desirable Skills - Experience with electronic trading systems and FIX protocol. - Knowledge of market data feeds and connectivity. - Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls). - Hands-on knowledge in hybrid cloud and know how middleware and applications are structured and interconnected - Certification in ITIL, AWS, or other relevant areas. - Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
