Principal Planning Solicitor

Job Title: Locum Principal Planning Lawyer Location: Home Counties Rate: Up to £65 per hour Umbrella Working Hours: Full Time, Hybrid Working, office presence required for Committee meetings Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the Home Counties in the search for a Locum Principal Planning Lawyer. This is a full-time position where you will be handling planning, inquests, and highways matters. Duties may include:

• Provide legal advice and services to client organisations in planning, development and highways matters and other corporate or constitution
• Lead, direct, develop and improve the service to client organisations, predominately in planning & highways, to ensure the provision of an excellent standard of client care and value for money
• Act as a legal advisor to client organisations to ensure awareness of their safeguarding responsibilities and ensure compliance with statutory duties and obligations and to protect the best interest of the client organisations
• Build highly effective working relationships with clients to ensure the Council delivers a seamless and client focussed service to all its clients
