Position Summary The LSEG Customer Connect Account Director will be based in our Hong Kong office and will build and lead an experienced team of Account Managers in forging deep customer relationships to drive growth and retention by collaborating with internal partners to deliver exceptional service and a valuable solution. This leader will help to drive a sustainable pipeline of opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and achieve revenue growth aligned to our Customer Connect channel. Role Responsibilities
- Be responsible for two teams within our Customer Connect channel in North Asia - our Growth Account Manager team and a new Emerging Hub team that the Director will support in establishing.
- The focus of the Growth team will be to develop deep trusted advisor relationships whereas the Emerging Hub team will drive a high velocity, high volume approach to support our large customer community.
- Develop and complete business strategies including sales campaigns, budget responsibilities, staffing, forecasting, to achieve sales, retention & revenue targets.
- Lead all aspects of all commercial activities for the portfolio of accounts, leading the end-to-end customer relationship.
- Coach, support and grow the success of the team, through implementing the principles and operating model of the LSEG Sales Methodology
- Coach, build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationships between Account Managers and their accounts.
- Lead by example and get involved in customer related activities - solving and supporting customers with their requirements.
- Drive growth by thinking strategically about how to grow our business in your market.
- Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate client conversations and raise interest.
- Drive efficiency in account administration especially for lower value and lower growth potential accounts.
- Build a highly efficient and velocity driven sales and account coverage model for our Emerging hub team.
- Develop a strong internal network and work collaboratively across a matrix organisation.
- Lead strategic planning for the territory and provide mentorship to sales leadership / staff on account strategies and tactics.
- Implement metrics to measure portfolio and team performance.
- Hiring, onboarding and training of new Account Managers to achieve targets.
- Strong leadership, sales, and customer engagement track record.
- Deep valued customer and market relationships.
- Strong financial market knowledge and relevant territory experience.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision making process, customer priorities and needs.
- Experience to operate within a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments / organizations and influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to deliver results across a range of key sales, retention and revenue metrics.
- Demonstrate experience and credibility to coach, train, support and enable a team of experienced market facing professionals.
- Excellent leadership skills with proven track record of attainment of company goals in a fast-paced changing environment
- High level of financial competence
