Position Summary This is an opportunity for a business-savvy salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team and cover a range of Fixed Income related data services (primarily 'Pricing and Reference Services' (PRS)) as well as pricing analytics. The role specializes in leading and structuring sales of such products to some of the world's largest financial institutions. Recently the business has grown significantly, and this position is newly crafted to tackle the growing addressable market in the fixed income space in Asia ex-Japan. We are looking for someone to help us grow the book via both upselling to existing and acquiring new clients, with future potential territory expansion depending on performance. The role will receive extensive training and support and involves working in close partnership with internal team members from account managers, solution consultants and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth. Role Responsibilities
- Sell Fixed Income Data solutions to clients across Asia ex-Japan.
- Creatively structure, negotiate and close deals.
- Proactively and consistently seek for new opportunities.
- Develop the sales strategy within assigned territory / account base.
- Build long term relationships with Fixed Income professionals across the region.
- Deliver customer demonstrations on our product offerings.
- Deep understanding of the financial sector, especially the Fixed Income space.
- While market data product knowledge is a plus, passion and tried selling skills are a far more meaningful.
- Strong sales 'closer'
- Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Business-level English is a must.
- Business-level Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Experience implementing sales strategies.
- 3-6 years of industry, sales or market experience
- Consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment.
