Our client, an international distributor and manufacturer of quality kitchen and bathroom fixtures worldwide, is seeking a newly created role Supply Chain PlannerThe Supply Chain Planner will act as a liaison between Planning/Customer Service/Distribution and Marketing to ensure success in the following areas: Customer event, promotional and new product launch activities, service management, plant workload balancing and prioritization and Wholesale project product availability.Supply Chain Planner DetailsHybrid, 3 days at work 2 from homeHolidays: 3 weeks, plus option to purchase a 4th.Salary: $72K-$80K based on qualificationsBonus: 10%.RRSP: 3% plus 5% match (8%).Supply Chain Planner Qualifications· College Diploma in Business, Operations Management· APICS Certification preferred.· 3 + years Inventory Planning experience· Master scheduling experience is an asset.· Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods is a strong asset· 2 years SAP experience and proficiency in Analysis for MS Office· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to internal customersSupply Chain Planner: What you’ll be doing.Management & Forecasting - 65%Perform required activities in Ochestr8 (supply planning system), including clearing the planning board, entering events, cleaning history as well as ensuring buffer accuracyWorking with the service analyst, identify root cause and corrective actions for service missesMonitor large/advance orders, work with Sales to manage customer expectationsMonthly forecasting by customer or product category and monitor forecast accuracyManage new product inventory/forecasts with input from Sales/MarketingParticipate in monthly collaboration meetings to discuss forecasts, resolve discrepancies between forward looking sales and end forecastWorking with sales/marketing ensure regular follow-up communication to identify any changes in requirements and/or timingProcurement - 15%Ensure that purchase orders are created accurately and on timeCommunicating and coming to resolution with vendors on all supply issuesMonitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to the agreed upon lead timesMake recommendations on MOQ’s as required Inventory Asset Management – 15% Working closely with Sales/Marketing, review over buffer inventory levels and identify corrective actions/reductions.Review forward plan and action as needed Reporting - 5%Analyze and report inventory gaps as required.Prepare ad-hoc reports as required using Analysis for Office and SAP
