Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure end-to-end responsibility for project objectives, aligning with business commitments.
  • Facilitate committees and collaborate with the project team to deliver prioritized project deliverables.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and validate estimates and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain project cost within budget while optimizing solutions.
  • Plan resources and capacity based on project needs.
  • Foster partnerships with product owners, stakeholders, and transversal teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and track maintenance costs and budgets.
  • Ensure coherence of tasks and commitments based on product release and functionality.
  • Contribute to and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
Proxy Product Owner Responsibilities:
  • Handle regulatory topics such as German Tax, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, or Tax Statement.
  • Gather business requirements from Product Owners and end-users.
  • Write GFS (General Functional Specifications) or user stories and confirm understanding with Business Analysts.
  • Perform analysis of squad applications and interfaces with other teams.
  • Review SIT strategy, test cases, and results to ensure delivery quality.
  • Support UAT by reproducing issues, monitoring, and fixing with the team.
  • Assist stakeholders in diagnosing problems and recognizing issues, recommending possible solutions.
Candidate requirements Essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Finance.
  • 10+ years' experience in banking IT (Wealth Management/Private Banking).
  • Proficient in Regulatory and Tax Reporting (Tax Regulatory, German Tax reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m).
  • Strong knowledge of Transactions, Market data providers, and Reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication, project lifecycle understanding, and analytical skills.
  • Budget steering experience, adaptability, and teamwork ability.
Desirable:
  • General IT knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL, IT Architecture, IT security).
  • Test management experience, familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools.
  • Exposure to AAA, Olympic, TRANSACT, Client Management Systems, Datawarehouse.
