An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled AVP Market Surveillance to join a prestigious financial institution. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and address potential market misconduct to ensure a fair, orderly, and transparent market.
- Develop and implement frameworks to enhance trade surveillance and investigate market misconduct.
- Monitor market activity through daily analysis of trading alerts and escalation of suspicious behavior to regulators.
- Collaborate with regulators and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Assist the Corporate Secretary in matters related to corporate governance and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain effective communication with shareholders and the Board of Directors.
- Assist in reviewing whistleblowing complaints and disciplinary breaches.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in derivatives trading or trade/ market surveillance
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
