Head of Client Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of accounts and financial statements to ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
• Manage GST and Corporate tax returns for clients, guaranteeing precision and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Examine accounting- and tax-related matters for clients, new business initiatives, and complex structures.
• Lead risk management initiatives and ensure prompt regulatory reporting in partnership with the compliance team.
• Conduct periodic business forecasts and budgets, measuring the performance of business units.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to assess potential acquisition targets.
• Manage finance, client accounting, and fund administration teams.
• Provide technical training to various teams on new financial instruments, reporting standards, cryptocurrencies, etc.
• Lead automation and shared services initiatives to drive improvements in accounting processes and cost savings.
• Experience in Managing a team.
• Implements initiatives to enhance accounting processes, promoting efficiency and accuracy.
• Provides support for MAS FORM 6, MAS Survey, CRS, and FATCA compliance.
• Acts as a liaison between auditors, tax authorities, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years of experience.
• Proven experience as an accountant, with expertise in trust management.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as a majority of clients are from China.
