Overview of Workforce 4.0 Team Workforce 4.0 enables Temasek's ecosystem (which consist of our Temasek Portfolio Companies and value chain partners) and enhances the human capital journey to achieve long-term sustainable business growth. The team is guided by the key principles of:

  • Understand and address issues from tripartite stakeholders
  • Leverage Temasek's central awareness, networks and eco-system, to derive aggregated solutions with horizontal effects
  • Create a catalytic effect for our Temasek ecosystem
The team leverages Temasek's ecosystem footprint, centres of excellence, as well as catalytic capital to engage, enable and effect (a change). Examples of our various initiatives include:
  • Gather strategic insights on emerging trends, explore implications to workforce and develop strategies and thought leadership on human capital perspectives;
  • Spearhead proactive ecosystem engagement through increasing awareness, identifying gaps and co-curating actionable solutions; and
  • Deploy catalytic capital by mobilising capital across human, finance, natural and social segments
Role Overview This role is focused on building new capabilities in, and expanding the scope of coverage of the Workforce 4.0 Team. The Associate/Senior Associate will conduct research on workforce topics, supporting strategy development and planning, organizing and management of various workstreams. Responsibilities
  • Research emerging trends, strategic and policy issues that impact the workforce in Temasek's ecosystem
  • Spearhead strategy development and operationise workstreams
    • Inter alia, support implementation of Temasek Tripartite Conversations (content development and stakeholder management)
  • On new institutional projects:
    • Research, validate and stress-test conceptual ideas; as well as
    • Develop roadmap for and execute sprints to assess viability of solutions
Requirements / Key Attributes
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or Public Policy
  • 1-4 years of relevant working experience in Strategy, HR Consulting, or Government relations/public policy
  • Strong analytical, presentation (written and oral) and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team player, ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
