ICON PLC is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst within the Commercial Affairs department, on a Permanent Hybrid working basis to join the growing team at our Dublin HQ in Leopardstown. The opportunity is ideal for an ACCA/CIMA Studier, Part-Qualified Accountant, or someone who is Fully Qualified, who is looking build a career within Finance at ICON. The duties the Financial Analyst will carry out are:
- Support the group by maintaining full global Commercial Finance control and accountability across the ISS division.
- Work with our strategic alliance clients to construct commercial terms tailored to meet their individual needs.
- Coordinate and prepare client-focused budgets and client grids for new business opportunities and ensure all requested information is provided in the final proposal within given timeframe.
- Attend and participate during kick-off and resource meetings.
- Provide high quality, timely support to the Proposals team to ensure client proposals are commercially sound.
- Liaise with the appropriate personnel including Business Development Team, Strategic Proposal Development and Operations throughout the rate and budget generation to ensure that the proposal and strategy meets the business needs in line with triage priority.
- Prepare costs for proposals by interacting with operational departments to coordinate costs and assumptions.
- Clarify contract specifications with the Commercial Finance Manager; Project Manager; and/or Account Manager (where appropriate).
- Maintain filing and tracking tools in accordance with accepted practices.
- Undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- ACCA/ CIMA studier or Fully Qualified.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business.
- Previous work experience in a Finance & Accounting department.
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with your business partners.

- Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks at a time.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel.
