The role is to safely lead our Connectivity business in Quebec. You will be accountable for the regions strategy and P&L including all business, financial, sales, and operational functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales to grow revenue and ensure operational efficiency to deliver all project successfully to targeted profitability. You will manage a diverse team of sales, estimators, project management and field technician including all support functions eg warehousing, procurement and fleet. You will build strong partnerships with suppliers, subcontractors and customers to develop a sustainable long term business.RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness and Financial LeadershipTake full responsibility and oversight for the business units P&L - business performance, financial outcomes, and overall growth.Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.Implement effective financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.Conduct regular financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.Operational ManagementOversee all operational functions, ensuring streamlined processes, timely project delivery, and excellent customer service.Implement project governance and approvals policies to ensure project profitability and minimize operational issues.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to drive operational excellence.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and enhance overall performance.Sales and Revenue GenerationDevelop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets and developing key customer relationships.Provide guidance and support to the sales team in negotiations, contract management, and pricing strategies.Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of over 100 employees, including sales, estimation, project management, purchasing, warehouse, and technicians.Maintain required communications to optimize results with partners, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors.Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for direct reports.Identify talent gaps and develop programs to enhance team members' skills and capabilities. REQUIREMENTSRelevant industry experience with a minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience in leading business operations at a regional level with direct P&L responsibility.Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing operations, preferably in a similar industry.Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.Demonstrated track record of successfully achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.Highly effective communicator and proven manager of change.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.Demonstrated ability to manage sub-contractors and other relevant partnerships.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.IS THIS YOU?
