Regional Tax Manager

R 1 000 000 - R 1 300 000 Annually Cost To Company Multi-national concerned based in the North, has an opportunity for a candidate with solid Tax experience. Hons B.Com Accounting and HDip Tax or similar is essential. Previous experience in a Senior Tax role is essential. The role of the position is to lead all regional tax matters, including Corporate Tax, International Tax, VAT and Withholding Tax including structuring, compliance and risk mitigation. Key responsibilities would be Tax Planning and Strategy, Direct and Indirect Tax and International Tax.
- Align strategy with business and corporate
- Keep abreast of changes to company's tax landscape
- Provide tax advice on transactions
- Due diligence
- Implement and develop Group Tax Strategy (International Taxes)
- Mitigate risk within Business Unit
- Co-ordinate multi-territory and cross-border tax activities
- Transfer pricing
- Manage the tax compliance and risk function for group
- Review deferred tax, current tax and withholding tax
- Assist with compilation of tax and deferred tax calculations
- Ensure correctness of tax payments and assessments
