Job Requisition ID #24WD76773 Position Overview Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, you will lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and delivering solutions in the area of Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) for the common Identity platform. In this hybrid role, you will lead teams developing modern cloud services, especially in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will build and guide highly effective and high-performing teams while inspiring them to remain at the cutting edge. You excel at both mentoring software engineers and guiding senior engineers. Responsibilities

  • You will be leading a team of software engineers to ensure execution and unlock creativity
  • You will develop staff by coaching, facilitating career aspirations and providing growth opportunitie
  • You will regularly communicate with team members, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluation
  • Build collaborative partnerships with the Software Architects, Technical leads, Product Owners, Product Managers and Experience Designers
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication cultureFoster continuous improvement and iteration
  • Provide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projects
  • Provide leadership to achieve high standards of "done" in areas of quality, security, scalability, and user experience
  • Help design and build solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications and infrastructures, including cloud services and desktop solutions
  • Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders
  • Take complete ownership of the initiative and deliver it end to end while working with various stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 2+ years of experience managing development teams
  • Previously managed teams of engineers with ownership of high-scale production systems
  • Experienced in one or more of the tech stacks and tools that includes AWS, Golang, C#, Python, Java etc
  • Experienced in creating telemetry for the service using Splunk, New Relic, Datadog or their equivalents
  • Skilled in big-picture thinking, willing to learn and dive into unfamiliar systems, and able to resolve complex and ambiguous issues from a business and technical perspective
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologies
  • Have insights about common engineering practice challenges and experience leading teams to fix/improve them
  • Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills
  • Expert experience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies
  • Experience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones may require limited work outside regular working hours
