This role is responsible for designing and implementing the Queensland Government's waste and resource recovery data collation, monitoring and reporting arrangements (including associated information technology systems). You will collate and analyse business intelligence from internal and external stakeholders and partners to support the department's evidence-based decision-making and meet our statutory reporting requirements. About you: • Design, implement and manage data and information arrangements, including governance, protocols and processes for collection, storage, analysis and publishing, with internal and external organisations and individuals to deliver priority resource recovery and circular economy initiatives. • Analyse and interpret data to inform policy and program development, performance monitoring and evaluation, and other issues of significance to the department and its partners, stakeholders and customers. • Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with staff, project teams and senior management within the Office of Circular Economy, the department and external stakeholder organisations. • Prepare high-quality oral and written reports, including data visualisations, presentations, briefing materials and planning/program/project management documents, to deliver your program of work. • Access, retrieve and analyse data from various waste databases and warehouse using skill sets and knowledge such as SQL, Power BI and R scripts for statistical analysis. • Be a key member in building and maintaining a high performing team to deliver the team's program of work within timeframes, budget and quality standards. • Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
