Job Description & Requirements As the Construction Manager specializing in security, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security-related construction activities on our project. You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that security requirements are integrated seamlessly into the construction process, and that all security systems are installed and operational according to project specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all security-related construction activities on the project, including the installation of access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and perimeter security measures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop security plans and specifications, ensuring that security requirements are integrated into the overall project design and construction schedule.
  • Manage the selection and procurement of security equipment, materials, and subcontractors, and oversee their work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate with security consultants, engineers, and vendors to review designs, specifications, and drawings, and provide input on constructability, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness of security solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards governing security construction activities, and coordinate with regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration on the project site.
  • Manage and track project budgets, expenditures, and resources related to security construction activities, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on security-related construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing security construction activities on large-scale projects, including access control systems, surveillance systems, and perimeter security measures.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems and equipment, including installation methods, integration requirements, and industry standards.
  • Experience with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and project team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
