VP, Front Office Software & L2 Support Engineer (Java & JVM), Financial Markets/ Trading, Banking

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Java 17, Multi-Threading, and Performance tuning in JVM), preferably with investment banking/ Financial Markets/ Trading environment
• Experience in Java Restful API design and development with good understanding on Data structure and Algorithm
• Experience of one or any distributed cache like Hazelcast/Redis/ Memcached

As the VP, Front Office Software & L2 Support Engineer , you will be responsible for delivering quality software, including end-to-end design, development and support of large-scale data processing systems built on Java tech stack, writing robust code (along with accompanying test suites), clear code and articulate what has been implemented and why, and provide technical solutions to support the bank’s Financial Markets business as well as support requirements from other projects with a wider scope such as regulatory books of work. You will be part of the development team of world class technology group, which take care of analytics booking and risk engine, strategic risk and PnL platform for Financial Markets and innovative technologies for profitable trading You will also work closely with global team like business analysts, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations, liaise directly with the Front Office, Middle Office and various functions to gather the requirements to design smart and scalable solutions following the bank standards plus coordinate with other teams in Technology in providing second line support.
