Partnership Planning Executive
Job details
What You'll Be Doing We're on the hunt for a Partnership Planning Executive to join Mumsnet's Planning team and help us create high quality partnership campaigns for a variety of exciting clients (including the likes of John Lewis, Disney, the Government, Amazon, LEGO and so many more!). Reporting into the Head of Strategic Planning, you will work with the wider team to respond to client briefs and plan campaigns that both meet the objectives of the client's brief and get clients excited to work with Mumsnet. This role requires someone who has a confident knowledge of powerpoint due to the fact that our partnership proposals are often presented back by the Sales team via slides to our clients. We work on a variety of different clients who want to partner with us for various reasons; in one week you might go from planning the launch of a new skincare brand to planning how to reach parents when they're shopping for back to school. Therefore, you will likely be dealing with a number of briefs and tasks at one time, so you will need to be super organised, an accomplished multi-tasker, and someone who can work under pressure. You'll be working closely with various teams across Mumsnet, including Sales, Client Services, Editorial and Product. As a role that liaises with lots of different teams and works on a variety of clients, there's a huge opportunity to advance your knowledge of the digital media landscape as well as develop your marketing skills. Finally, in the Planning team we're very motivated by the ‘why' - we use the wealth of data we have at our fingertips here at Mumsnet to identify consumer insights, which allows us to make the right creative and product recommendations to our clients (whether that's video, influencers, editorial or any of our many advertising touchpoints). We're looking for someone who is also motivated by the ‘why' and will help us identify insights because they are curious and enjoy problem solving. Core responsibilities of this role:
Who We Are Mumsnet is the UK's biggest website for parents, and our purpose is to make their lives easier. We've got some of the busiest forums in Europe, with users offering each other advice and support 24/7, plus editorial content, reviews and campaigns. We aim to be the UK's go-to brand for parents, and - for our staff - a great place to work. Why work for us? We focus on steady, sustainable growth, putting purpose (to make parent's lives easier) before profit. We expect great performance, agility and collaboration in every role; cross-team working with talented, clever people is the best part of life at Mumsnet. Most importantly we're looking for candidates with a growth mindset - we know everyone makes mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them and to share your learnings. We embraced flexible and home working a long time before COVID, and we care much more about outputs than hours on the clock. We don't only want to hire the best people: we want to retain them. If you need some flexibility, let us know and we'll do our best. We're committed to diversity and quality (see our policy here) and we think we're second to none in the all-round support we offer to parents and carers at work (see our parental leave policies here). Working for Mumsnet means never having to pretend you don't have a family or other commitments, and we promise never to keep you away from a school appointment. We are also proud to be a London Living Wage employer and we have never used unpaid interns. We have a healthy line-up of sandwich lunches, knowledge sessions, choirs, book clubs, yoga sessions and sports teams, as well as an unhealthy line-up of staff parties at Kentish Town's excellent pubs and restaurants, and McDonald's deliveries for the mornings after. How We'll Support You
Flexible and Hybrid Working We've continued to embrace flexibility and remote working to the max. You'll only be required to be in the office two days a week (although you can go in more often if you wish). We're flexible with hours and happy to accommodate personal commitments like picking the kids up from school. We're more interested in output than presenteeism, so if you need to move things around, we can probably work it out. Requirements
Benefits We're pleased to offer the following benefits, subject to eligibility:
