Lead Design & Proposal Engineer for Well Head Control System (WHCP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design & Proposal Engineer with expertise in Wellhead Control Systems to join our dynamic team. As a Design & Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and proposing cutting-edge wellhead control solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the oil and gas industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects and contributing to the growth of our organization.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. System Design and Engineering: Develop detailed designs for wellhead control systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated and efficient solutions.
2. Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive and compelling technical proposals in response to customer inquiries and project tenders. Translate customer requirements into tailored wellhead control system solutions, considering safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Product Selection: Identify suitable components and equipment for wellhead control systems, including valves, actuators, control panels, and instrumentation. Evaluate and select vendors and suppliers to source high-quality materials and ensure timely delivery.
4. Cost Estimation: Conduct accurate cost estimation for proposed wellhead control systems. Analyze project budgets, material costs, labor requirements, and other expenses to develop competitive pricing strategies.
5. Project Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including engineering drawings, specifications, technical manuals, and compliance reports.
6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all wellhead control systems comply with industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality assurance procedures. Perform thorough testing and validation of system components and configurations.

Qualification/ Minimum Requirement:

• Required Experience: Minimum 5 years
• Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in the design and proposal of wellhead control systems within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in wellhead control applications.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to wellhead control systems, such as API 6A, API 17D, and API 17H.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges during the design and implementation phases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
