Job Description

Sarten ranking among Europe's largest metal and plastic packaging companies, started out in in 1972. Today Sarten is catering its clientele out of 22 factories located in Bulgaria, Russia and the Netherland alongside Turkey. Sarten is manufacturing metal containers for a variety of industries; including canned vegetables, edible oil, aerosols, pesticides, industrial oils and paints. As far as plastic containers, Sarten is offering products made out of PET, HDPE and PP for lubricants, agricultural chemicals (COEX), ketchup (COEX), paints, cleaning agents as well as the cosmetics industry. Twist clousers, produced by Sarten in a variety of diameters and different types, are ideal for a wide range of customer needs and meet the standard requirements of the food industry. Sarten is already export tincans into Egypt out of its factories in Turkey. In order to create further growth, Sarten is planning to settle in Egypt with local footprint. In this respect, we are looking for a candidate to plant future seeds.

Job Requirements

Requirements
  • Good understanding of export business along with domestic legislation
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (Turkish speakers are also preffered)
  • Graduated from related departments of universities
  • Strong communication skills, energetic and eagerness to learn
  • The ideal candidate should not have any restriction to travel
  • Preferably based near Sadat City, Alexandria or Cairo
The suitable candidate should
  • Predominantly assist Sarten for the first establishment of the company 
  • Represent the company in governmental offices and connect with other private enterprises as far as legislative actions
  • Take appropriate actions such as renting a land (building) and/or obtain operational licences, search for labour in the case Sarten proceeds for an investment in Egypt
  • Create business development in new or existing countries, search for new leads as far as markets/customers
  • Challenge to introduce new marketplaces and research for new distribution channels in different regions
  • Maintain existing customer relation, specify market needs
  • Travel abroad for exhibitions and visit fillers/ distributors when necessary.
  • Set annual sales targets and identify budget of countries and customers he/she is responsible for
