Job Description
Job Brief QA Tester is required to ensure software quality via manual and automated testing. He will be responsible for testing origination web and mobile apps. He is preferred to have an experience with eCommerce applications' testing. Generally, he will be responsible of the systems and applications quality in the organization and will work closely with IT development teams, product managers and key business users Responsibilities- Collaborate with IT Tech Leads and Key business users to develop effective test plans
- Perform post-release and post-implementation testing
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Execute test cases (manual or automated)
- Analyze test results and communicate technical advices to concerned development teams
- Work closely with project managers, development teams and business key users to ensure quality throughout
- Prepare testing phases and defects documentations
- Report bugs and glitches to development teams
- Manage to clone production environments to staging
- Fully aware of the software development lifecycle
Job Requirements
- BSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester (At least 2 years of experience)
- Proven experience in eCommerce applications' testing(At least 1 year)
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or JUnit.
- Knowledge of software testing techniques including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker for creating reproducible testing environments.
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for testing web applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git for managing test code and assets.
