This strategic role will be responsible supporting the Operational Resilience Risk Management program at Northern Trust. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the operational resilience risk strategy. This individual will partner with members of the Operational Resilience Risk team, and key stakeholders to drive program adoption and provide review and challenge of operational resilience issues and plans (including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery). The Senior Consultant will consult with stakeholders and should have an understanding of risk management concepts, including resilience risk management processes and activities, within the financial services industry. Major Duties Support the Operational Resilience Risk Management Program Maintains familiarization of the Firm, including organizational structure and services provided Monitor regulatory updates and impact of changes in regulatory environment to the program Interacts, partners and presents to key stakeholders of the Operational Resilience Program Manages and performs special projects as assigned Communicates with partners at all levels, developing and presenting recommendations on operations and controls Drive and support change in the Non-Financial Risk team in line with the vision and strategy Knowledge/Skills Strong problem-solving skills (e.g., ability to structure ambiguous problems) Experience in being on a diverse, cross-functional team, working to come up with the best solution for high-quality execution Understanding of Operational Resilience concepts, including Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, 3rd and Impact Tolerances Expertise Required A College or University degree is preferred.
