Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of process improvement initiatives, lead the operational finance team, and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive cross-functional control and process enhancements. As the successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in the transformation of the organisation's ERP, aligning with their strategic objectives, ensuring continued best practice internal controls and policies. This is the ideal role for a highly motivated and qualified finance professional seeking an interesting role in a transformation environment. Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership role in the ERP replacement.
  • Ownership of process improvement activities for finance processes, standardisation and streamlining to promote cost effectiveness.
  • Analyse existing systems and processes, identifying challenges, and delivering projects to address them.
  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive performance improvements.
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting and financial controls throughout the organisation.
  • Develop and document business processes and finance policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day financial activities, including ERP, receivables management, payments, and payroll.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA Qualified accountant with 10+ years' experience.
  • Demonstrated team management experience.
  • Strong foundation in Financial Accounting, compliance, and experience in initiating and driving projects to completion.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Communication and organisational skills - excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident self-starter with excellent relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Will have previous experience undertaking process improvement tasks or projects.
  • Demonstrate strong accounting and leadership skills with potential to progress within the organisation.
