Corporate Compliance Tax Manager (Mid-size global audit firm) Our client is a full-service global accounting firm offering a complete suite of assurance, taxation, valuation, transfer pricing, accounting advisory and business advisory. They provide a board range of resources and support its member firms across the globe. Key Responsibilities:
- Your main roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
- You will be reporting directly to Managing director for Singapore office.
- Manage client portfolio in the area of tax compliance and provide tax advisory services.
- Review, provide recommendations on agreements and/or documents of clients for compliance and risk mitigation purposes.
- Assess and identify (cross business line) business development opportunities, whilst managing tax engagements
- Review, provide recommendations, solutions on clients’ portfolio and to understand what they have on hand and how this portfolio is to translate into a target revenue.
- Work along with staff, peers and partners on the delivery of tax advisory to multinational clients across industries in Singapore and globally.
- Lead the team and the process for all tax related engagements and manage junior staff coaching, training and development.
- Build strong external and internal relations with clients, networks, teams and across other service
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy with Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably from a professional qualification as recognised by SCTP (Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals)
- Have good communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with senior business partners, resolving problems cross-functionally across departments and regions.
- Solid knowledge of Singapore Tax guideline and accounting standards, regulatory reporting and excellent business and commercial judgement, analytical and decision-making skills
