We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Senior Internal Audit Manager - Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Senior Audit Manager - C14) based in Changi Business Park, Singapore. - Execute audit from end to end, draft audit reports, validate IA and regulatory issues and conduct business monitoring activities and deliver governance committee reports;
- Participate in major business initiatives and pro-actively advise and assist the business on change initiatives;
- Implement integrated auditing concepts and technology, and follow trends in the Audit field and adapt them for the Audit function;
- Applies an in-depth understanding of the inter-relationships of business and support units throughout the corporation and how they impact the overall control environment and the audit approach;
- Uses excellent communication skills in order to influence a wide range of internal audiences including respective product, function, or regional executive management partners. May negotiate internally often at higher levels on matters which will have a major impact on the area managed;
- Identify solutions for a variety of complex and unique control issues, utilizing complex judgement and sophisticated analytical thought;
- Analyze report findings, and recommend interventions where needed, proposing creative and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues;
- Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing broader corporate emerging issues;
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services, especially in the areas associated with Risk and Control, Internal Audit, Financial Crime such as Sanctions, Compliance and Regulatory Risk;
- Related certifications [CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or similar] preferred;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology and Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption programs including emerging risks in the areas;
- Quantitative analytic skills and knowledge, including sampling methodology and statistical theory and methods;
- Understanding of Sanctions alert analysis, case review and investigation;
- Effective project management skills with ability to maintain timely delivery of quality results;
- Effective influencing, negotiation, and relationship management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
