MA Business Systems Analyst seeks to apply innovative technology solutions to Medical Affairs business processes and drives the execution of MA system-related Change initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for day-to-day operational activities consisting of end user support, troubleshooting, issue resolution and issue escalation. The individual participates on Solutions Team technology projects as a Business Systems Analyst supporting MA Solutions Team projects in a variety of capacities through a Project’s lifecycle including requirements gathering and solution design, documentation, testing, communication, implementation with specific focus in 2024 to support Project workstreams that advances the Medical Affairs Digital portal with the integration of Medical Information and Medical Communications systems.The keys to success for this role will be collaborating with cross-functional groups within Medical Affairs, Janssen Canada, global partners along with a variety of IT teams. You must have strong project management, client relationship management, communication and business partnering skills that complement your technical aptitude.Major Responsibilities:• Assess and identify opportunities to enhance or automate business processes or to change technology platforms to meet evolving business needs• Analyze, document and assess both high-level and detailed business requirements from end users and translate them into both high-level and detailed business requirements and translate them to business use case diagrams, business process flowcharts• Participate and lead the facilitation of business process review, solution design and developer walkthroughs based on business requirements• Translate technical applications specification into functional and nonfunctional business requirements adhering to appropriate Solution Design Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies• Develop test scenarios and execute testing activities with both business and technology stakeholders as needed adhering to SDLC and appropriate project management life cycle methodologies (Agile, waterfall etc.)• Execute and deploy Change initiatives for Medical Affairs systems in collaboration with business partners and technology stakeholders• Develop user guides, training and support resources for the end-user community• Provide operational support, issue escalation, resolution follow-through and system administration activities for core in-scope Medical Affairs systems such as Salesforce.com (Service Cloud), Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault (MedComms) including submission of incident support tickets as requiredExperience:Relevant knowledge and experience• Bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Information Technology, Information Management or related field or equivalent work experience• 3-5 years of experience of business systems analysis and end-user support activities.• 3-5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare industry or other regulated industries.• Working experience to intermediate levels as a business systems / technical analyst of SaaS, CRM systems, Data and Analytics platforms is required.• Working knowledge of data structure; information systems/tools, and related software and data management; enterprise content management, and record-keeping policies and practices in a complex organizational environment• Working experience using a variety of both SDLC and Project Management Lifecycle Methodologies (Agile, waterfall).• Reporting and data analysis experience is an asset.• Experience in facilitating Training, Learning and Development activities related to Systems changes is an asset.Skills:Technical competency requirements:• Strong technical acumen• Advanced understanding across a broad technology platforms and tools: Veeva CRM, Salesforce.com, MS SharePoint, Veeva Vault, MS Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, MS365 suite• Advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team dynamic• Strong communication skills (verbal, written)• Superior attention to accuracy and detail with minimal management oversight• Ability to meet tight deadlines for projects and operational support requestsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in business Admin, Information Technology, Information Management or related field or equivalent work experienceAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
