About the Opportunity Our client, a renowned property and resource management consultancy, plays a key role in the development of New Zealand's essential road, rail, and property projects. The legal team is looking for a Corporate Counsel to support the wider business by working alongside clients on specialised property transactions, conveyancing, acquisitions and disposals, advice under the Public Works Act 1981 (PWA), due diligence, and drafting and reviewing of documents. No two days will be the same, so you will enjoy a variety of stimulating work. About You
- At least 1 year experience with a grounding in property law
- Current NZ practising certificate or eligibility
- Commercial acumen and highly motivated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You consider yourself a team player but can also work well autonomously
- Experience advising under PWA or the Local Government Act's is desirable but not essential.
