Job Overview:

  1. An exciting opportunity for an experienced leader supporting our Finance Platforms landscape, to join this dynamic, fast-paced group with significant transformation plans over the next 2 years
  2. The role will be key in defining the future of finance platforms for Access as we grow, identifying process improvements and automation opportunities, augmented intelligence and assisted decisioning – guiding stakeholders through change programmes and building business support to new solutions
  3. A hands-on approach to solution delivery is key, as is being driven by data, strong in your principles and clear in your communication to all levels of the business community, you will be expected to work with directly with our Group CFO and leadership team, being comfortable challenging and communicating within the Finance Domain is key

Day-to-day, you will:

  1. Define and Own and execute the roadmap for finance platforms transformation
  2. You will continue to review, challenge and refine the how we execute finance change
  3. Align finance requirements with strategic finance systems roadmap delivery
  4. Support the team in managing and resolving business requests, prioritising effectively
  5. Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve finance system operations, discover issues and deliver better value to the finance community
  6. Work alongside the Finance leadership team, influencing them on ways to optimize and enhance our finance systems landscape
  7. Be a strategic thinker covering the latest market trends for finance systems, leading the conversation around taking the finance systems landscape into the future
  8. Be an excellent people leader, supporting day to day a team of 10+ technical specialists (Direct and Indirect)
  9. Project manage the integration of our acquired business within Region against a technical blueprint

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Enthusiastic about new technology and the future of finance systems & automation
  • Proven experience in managing a globally distributed team
  • Successful History of implementing ERP & CPM solutions within a global business
  • Excellent stakeholder manager, at all levels of a business and with external partners – with exceptional communication skills, to report back at Board meetings
  • Experience in fostering data science and business intelligence to support a reliable planning & closing process across a global organization
  • Strong financial / accounting understanding from supporting technology focused finance teams
  • Understanding of finance process & best practice
  • Ownership of Transformation of Industry Finance digital data & system landscape
  • You must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and operate effectively in a fast-paced ever-evolving environment
  • You will have a proactive approach, inquisitive by nature with a strong eye for detail
  • Credible and professional behavior
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to work in a methodical manner
