Job details
- Strong oral, verbal & written communication skills.
- Sourcing vendor, market & fabric knowledge, Clients, fabric costing.
- Take monthly forecast plans from concerned departments;
- Generate request for quotation (RFQ).
- Receive quotations from suppliers, evaluate vendors on different parameters including roll weight, roll length, packaging, etc., and prepare comparison sheets.
- Take follow-ups from the suppliers for on-time availability of raw
- Materials and notify the reporting head in case of delays or other issues.
- Maintain close liaison with the vendor by visiting the facility as
- per requirement and to timely identify and report quality issues
- during the production and/or once fabric is procured.
- Take follow-up from SCL to ensure timely availability/Receiving
- of the procured fabric; inquire about delays from suppliers on the
- Delivering and communicating to all concerns.
- Other duties/tasks as assigned by management
- Explore payment issues (if any) and share them with the reporting head for resolution.
- Coordinate with the Finance department to reduce payment gaps
- Maintain contacts and good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Settle issues regarding quality, on-time delivery & weight of Fabric to settle supplier account.
