(Global Oil Gas) Senior Rotating Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary As a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the hands-on diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of various types of rotating equipment, contributing significantly to our cutting-edge energy company's operations. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including dismantling, diagnosing, assembling, testing, and issuing related technical reports.
• Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment, while identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
• Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs to identify root causes, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Introduce and apply the latest technology in repair methodology.
• Develop and revise the department's technical procedures and standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.
• Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
• Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), other company departments, and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, vendors, and manufacturers for shop repair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in the mechanical field, particularly with rotating equipment.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, troubleshooting, and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment such as gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Experience in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility for steam turbines, gas compressors, and diesel engines.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
