Key Accountabilities:

  • Reports to Head Planner EPC-2.
  • Provides Construction & Commissioning schedule & planning expertise to bolster the EPC-2 Planning Team.In addition to NFS works will also provide Commissioning support for NFE scope of work.Attend essential meetings face to face.
  • Development and updating of EPC-2 Level 2 schedule to incorporate schedule from EPC-2 Contractor and Subcontractors – able to provide Company view of Construction schedule forecast dates.
  • Responsible for overseeing Contractor’s schedule, KPI’s, interfaces and advises any potential schedule issues and provides guidance on corrective actions and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.
  • Liaise regularly with the Procurement team to monitor alignment with the expediting report and construction schedule.
  • Leads EPC-2 Contractor & Sub-contractor in development of the Quarterly schedule updates and supports the update of the planning package; includes hosting of schedule development & review sessions for the Recovery and or Forecast schedules with Construction teams at site.
  • Review schedules and forecasts prepared by EPC Contractor and Sub-contractor, participate in weekly ALT Construction schedule workshops providing a planning view on correct schedule sequence.
  • Regular progress monitoring through physical verification at the work site.Liasion with site Construction management team and Contractors’ teams in all Construction areas.
  • Development of KPIs by using Construction data for efficient tracking of all site construction activities including Critical Path activities.Responsible to ensure validation of Contractors data and ensure awareness of anomolies.
  • Review Contractors Progress Measurement System including Key Quantities and Job Hour norms relative to Productivity factors and report back findings if anomalies are found.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analysis requests related to Construction schedule and KPIs.Prepare “what if” scenario schedules for review and discussion.
Skills Minimum Requirements Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business, Trade Qualification or equivalent exeprience. Knowledge and/or Experience:
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in planningwith 10 years experience on major Oil & Gas projects, with exposure to risk management.
  • Experience of working with National Oil Companies or International Oil Companies a strong advantage.
Technical and Business Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong planning, organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Excellent data analysis skills using tool such as Primavera P6, Excel and databases.
  • Knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis and able to support inputs for conducting Schedule Risk Analysis on Construction schedule.
