ROT02701 Where you’ll be working: Lakes District Hospitals and Specialist Services –Rotorua Hospital New Zealand The details: Permanent Part-time - 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE) Salary Details: see ASMS MECA Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Physician –Palliative Care Lakes District Hospitals is seeking a new Senior Medical officer with passion for Palliative Medicine. The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in further developing specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population. The role requires you to work across a range of acute inpatient services and ambulatory services including clinics, hospice and patients homes.- Therefore it is essential to have capability in delivering specialist services to people and whanau who are experiencing a life limiting condition.
- Have experience in the acute hospital setting
- Has a focus on equitable services and health outcomes
- Actively participate in the education and training of under graduate and post graduate medical and nursing staff
