Job Summary:
As a Logistics Business Development Consultant, your main responsibility will be to identify, establish and nurture strategic business relationships to drive growth and profitability for One Ship. You will be required to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for expansion and develop innovative strategies to maximize business development efforts within One Ship.What Are the Job Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Research
- To conduct in-depth market research to identify current and potential merchants, industry trends and competitors.
- To analyze data and market insights to identify areas of growth and opportunities for One Ship to venture in.
- Lead Generation
- To identify and target potential merchants, partners and opportunities.
- Generate leads through various channels such as networking, industry events, online research and cold outreach.
- Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision makers, potential merchants and industry partners.
- Collaborate with other team members to leverage existing relationships within the industry.
- Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand One Ship's client base.
- Create customized proposals and presentations to effectively communicate One Ship's value proposition to potential merchants.
- Revenue Growth
- Work closely with other departments to ensure successful conversions of leads into new business opportunities.
- Continuously assess and improve pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation.
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Share market insights and client feedback to improve service offerings.
- Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Regularly update your reporting manager on the progress of initiatives and opportunities.
What Are the Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Preferred languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Previous working experience as a Logistics Business Development Consultant for 2 years.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Able to confidently approach potential customers and give them information about services offered at One Ship.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Proven track record of consistent sales and closing success.
- Comprehensive knowledge of E-commerce and Supply Chain Solutions.
