Under the general guidance and supervision of the Credit Officer and within the limits of established policies procedures and Accounting Procedures Manual is responsible for assisting to execute the credit investigation and collection of the Hotel efficiently. To perform the collection and update records of the accounts receivable particularly for credit card transactions. REGULAR DUTIES Receivable Requirements Prepares Statement of Account. Ensures completeness of required supporting documents such as guest folio all receipts LOA and are in agreement with contracts. Processes of daily credit card transactions including online payment platforms such as Paymaya Gcash PayPal and the likes Checks on the completeness of documents forwarded by the Income Auditor such as signed guest folios and signed credit card imprints. Process all cheques and payments received accurately and on a daily basis. Using credit card reconciliation module in RMS apply the payments received from the bank to its proper account and ensure that any discrepancies are reported to Credit Officer promptly for further action. Ensure that all credit card transactions are verified for completeness and the accounts formally reconciled on a daily basis. Calculate and accurately post credit card commissions. Promptly investigate all credit card disputes liaising with the Front Office and the banks. Collate all necessary paperwork to justify credit card refunds and obtain sign off from the management before refunds can be processed. Complete a daily summary of all adjustments related to the Credit Card Reconciliation module of RMS; ensure that it is distributed as necessary and reconciled with a RMS generated report at end of shift. Makes sure that all pertinent documents are filed and attached to the statement of account such as guest folio all receipts LOA. etc.

  1. Ensures the charges that are debited to various accounts are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
Tax Requirement
  1. Prepares Quarterly Summary of List of Creditable Withholding Tax (SAWT) for ITR Remittance
  2. Encoding of Quarterly Summary List of Purchases (SLP) in BIR Relief Data System and submit thru Esubmission.
  3. Prepares Monthly Summary of List of Purchases for VAT Remittance
  4. Encoding of Quarterly Summary List of Purchases (SLP) in BIR Relief Data System and submit thru Esubmission.
OCCASIONAL DUTIES Receivable Requirements
  • Conduct credit investigation occasionally.
  • Assist Credit Officer on the preparation of billing statements.
  • Assist in Followingup of accounts regarding payments of clients.
  • Assists on the issuance of CAS Official Receipt
OTHER DUTIES OTHERS TASK
  • Compilation of external and internal audit requirements if any
  • Response to emails and queries
  • Other tasks that may be assigned
  • Extensive knowledge on Hotel Policies and Procedures
  • Has Knowledge in Hotel Property Management System and Online payment platform.

QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT
  • Must possess a Bachelors/College degree in Accountancy or any Business Course
WORK EXPERIENCE
  • At least 1 year experience in a hotel chain or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in credit investigation procedure and requirement
  • With experience in hotel and accounting system is an advantage
  • Computer Knowledge. Well versed in MS Office preferably in Excel.
