What you will do

  • Perform routine testing in a laboratory/Area setting of medical devices associated with returns due to customer complaints, while ensuring timely closure. 
  • Handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently in a team environment with minimal supervision. 
  • Assist Engineers with in depth and complex investigation to resolve Customer complaints and possibly identify root cause 
  • Document investigation activities clearly and accurately, utilizing software applications, computers and databases and maintain files per procedures. 
  • Ensure proper transfer of the returned product to next stage of investigation according to documented priorities. 
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to other departments for complaint Investigations and service activities 
  • Achieve returned products, in appropriate location per established procedures, for subsequent retrieval. 
  • Safely perform routine testing and receiving of returned products due to customer complaints and be able to document investigation activities clearly and accurately in a timely manner. 
  • Adhere to procedures and work instructions throughout. Be able to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. 
  • Understand the priorities of investigation as outlined in the procedures and as assigned by the laboratory supervisor. 
  • Under general supervision this person proposes improvements to methods for inspecting, testing and evaluating complaint-related product; maintains failure analysis test tools, fixtures, and equipment. 

What you bring

Experience
  • Technical Education: Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical , or technical field is required
  • A minimum of 3 experience in failure analysis and operating Failure analysis equipment 
  • Experience in Hearing Aid industry is an advantage
Personal competencies
  • Good Soldering Skills is an advantage 
  • Experience in trouble shooting and investigation techniques such as failure analysis using equipments and tools appropriate to identify root cause is an advantage (i.e electronic bench-test equipment - oscilloscopes, pulse and signal generators, power supplies, DC source/measure)
  • Ability to write and communicate clearly, including generating and presenting well-written reports is required. 
  • Good organizational, written, oral and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience in controlled environment preferred. 
  • Good Computer Skills. 
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
