The Club has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator.The Human Resources Coordinator supports Club management and staff regarding all aspects of human resources, in an administrative, advisory and service-oriented role. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring generalist to get broad exposure to a wide range of HR activities through both day-to-day functions and project-based work.Duties and Responsibilities:Leads day-to-day recruitment activities, including proactive candidate sourcing and management of selection processes to facilitate a continuous pipeline of the great talent.Coordination and implementation of training programs including new employee onboarding, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, respectful workplace and other learning initiatives.Administers the pension and benefits plans for eligible employees, including enrollments and orientationParticipates and supports various human resources-related projects include the development of new programs, diversity initiatives, and systems and process improvements to generate efficienciesAssists the Director of Human resources with the implementing and updating of policies & procedures, and communicating Club valuesParticipates in collective bargaining preparation and the grievance resolution processAssists with the coordination of staff appreciation & recognition initiatives and regular communication meetingsJob Qualifications and Requirements:2 - 3 years of relevant Human Resources experience required, ideally with a focus on talent acquisition processes. Hospitality experience is an assetCHRP certification in progress is preferredCompletion of a degree or diploma with a focus on Human Resources Management or Industrial/Labour Relations is preferredStrong working knowledge of Human Resources legislationWorking experience with Ceridian Dayforce or comparable HRISHigh attention to detail; with strong organizational skills; able to complete several tasks simultaneously and to set prioritiesAbility to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions; Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with othersExperience with utilizing various forms of candidate sourcing with recruitment and selection Spectator Sports
