  POSITION:  Office Manager / Contracts AdministratorResponsible for coordinating office operations, procedures & resources to facilitate operational effectiveness and efficiency. Office Manager Duties include:assign and monitor clerical, administrative and reception responsibilities and tasks among office staffallocate available resources to enable successful task performanceco-ordinate office staff activities, including A/P, A/R, Collections and Payroll, to ensure maximum efficiencyevaluate & manage staff performance, internal staff relations, coach, mentor and discipline office staffrecruit and select office staff, orientation and training of new personnelbackup & support for A/P and A/R and Payrolldesign, implement and oversee adherence to office policies and proceduresimplement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiencyliaise with Information Technology support and oversee implementation, maintenance and distribution of Information Technology requirements and resourceshandle customer inquiries and complaintsmaintain a safe and secure working environmentContracts Admin Duties include:·        assist with preparation of tender documents and ensure timely submissions·        assist with contract document preparation and submissionmaintain contract / project filesfollow up with clients on outstanding contract payments, collections dutiesreconcile subcontractor invoices and authorize payments Education and Experience·        business administration or related degree or diploma, equivalencies will be considered ·        5 years administrative and supervisory experience·        knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures·        knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures·        knowledge of business and management principles·        proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel and accounting software such as Sage 50 or Jonas Key Competencies ·                     excellent communication, coaching, teamwork and collaboration skills ·                     problem analysis and assessment and decision making ·                     excellent planning, organizing skills and work and time management ·                     attention to detail and high level of accuracy ·                     delegation of authority and responsibility ·                     information gathering and monitoringSalary range $83,000 - $125,000 DOE, 3 Weeks Vacation, Fuel Allowance, Company Matching Group RRSP, Health/Dental and Disability Benefits Package available - after 3 month probationary period.
