Closing Date for Expressions of Interest: April 11th, 2024Plan International's 'Plan for Girls' (P4G) project, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is pioneering a girl-led approach to development. Through extensive consultations with girls and their communities, we've identified crucial gaps in services and developed interventions in sexual and reproductive health, education, child protection, and economic empowerment.Now, Plan International Canada is seeking a Bilingual (French/English) Global Consultant to lead the final evaluation and endline of the P4G project. If you're passionate about girls' empowerment and have the expertise to make a difference, we want you on our team!Responsibilities of the Bilingual Global Consultant (GC) include:Coordinating with Plan International Canada and Country Study LeadsReviewing project documents and study protocolsValidating sampling strategies and data collection toolsProviding technical support to Country Study LeadsAnalyzing data and writing the final reportResponsibilities of the Country Study Lead include:Recruiting and orienting study teamsOrganizing enumerator training and data collectionOverseeing data quality assurance processesEnsuring adherence to gender sensitivity and safeguarding policiesLength of Consultancy: Up to 12 months, with specific deadlines for key milestones.Language Requirement: Fluency in French and English required.Required Skills and Experience:Master's degree or higher in relevant fieldsMinimum of 10 years of experience in research and evaluationExperience in gender analysis and assessing outcomes in West African contextsStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis skillsAbility to travel to Benin and Cameroon as neededHow to Apply: To receive the Request for Proposal or for any questions, please contact Tanya Lee at TLee@plancanada.ca with the reference "RFP: Plan For Girls Endline Study - Global Consultant (Expression of interest).Submit your Expression of Interest addressing the specified criteria by April 11th.
