The Network and Security Administrator will be primarily responsible for technical design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise network, which includes corporate and regional LAN, WAN (SD-WAN), Internet accesses, and Wi-Fi along with overseeing IT security and safety of the computing environment from any types of internal/external and cyber threats.Technical Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain Esri Canada's corporate and regional HPE Aruba LAN, Palo Alto WAN (SD-WAN), Internet accesses, and HPE Aruba Wi-Fi services ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.Administration and maintenance of corporate Palo Alto Firewall / Prisma and Global Protect VPN access controlDevelop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard the organization's systems and data.Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure a swift and effective response to security events.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.Conduct security audits to assess compliance with industry standards and regulations.Implement and manage network monitoring tools to detect and respond to anomalies and security incidents.Facilitate corporate and regional expansion needs for network, telephony, electrical, cooling, and UPSSupport and maintenance of Microsoft Teams Telephony and Genesys Contact CenterCreate and maintain technical and end-user documentation on networking and securityMinimum Education Requirement:University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related discipline.Relevant certification in the area of cyber security and network administration Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:Expertise in networking protocols, security architectures, and best practicesExpertise in security technologies like firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.Expertise in network segregation with Layer 2 (VLANs) and Layer 3 (subnets) with access controls implemented (Private VLANs, ACLs, Firewalls)Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP systemsExpertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)Expertise in Managed Detection and Response (MDR)Exposure to Security compliance like ISO 27001Exposure to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery PlansExposure to cybersecurity protocols and servicesExposure to Incident Response PlanThe following competencies are essential to this role:Strong leadership and managerial skills to lead a team and drive security initiatives.Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.Esri Canada fosters a dynamic and inclusive work culture, the opportunity to build your skills, and the flexibility to work remotely or at any of our offices across Canada.
