RMT Equipment is a family-owned company, established in Blainville and in business for over 25 years.

Our mission is to make our roads and loading sites safer and more productive.

We specialize in precision, safety and telemetry for the heavy machinery, transportation and material handling sectors.

We're looking for a new on-road service technician to support the growing demand for our products across the province.

Your main responsibilities as a service technician:

Installation of electronic scales on heavy machinery

Installation of cameras with artificial intelligence

Installation of pedestrian and object detection systems

Proposing solutions to the client

Activation of wireless solutions connected to the cloud

Calibration, maintenance, and preventive maintenance

Training for clients

What does success look like?

6 months: You will have received in-house training on our products and performed installations with your colleagues. You will install and maintain our products on your own at our customers' sites. You will be able to document your service calls and calibration parameters.

12 months: You will have undergone advanced training on the various customer portals for our solutions. You will be able to assess customer needs for new solutions. You will be able to troubleshoot our RMT products through a process of diagnosis and problem solving.

Skills & abilities:

A professional diploma in electromechanics or equivalent experience;

2-5 year(s) experience as an on-road technician;

Excellent electromechanical skills;

Excellent customer service;

Demonstrate an interest in technology and innovation;

Ability to read technical information.

Requirements:

Driver's license with good driving record;

Valid passport.
