Position : Assurance intern Location : Hong Kong Line of Service: Assurance Type of employment: Intern About Assurance Audit and Assurance Service (‘Assurance’) is the largest service line in PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong. Assurance service today isn’t only about compliance or merely following rules. It’s helping our clients to navigate regulatory complexity and strengthen trust and transparency. By providing a balanced, objective opinion on financial statements, we help build trust between companies/investment banks and their stakeholders, including investors. It requires us go beyond the objectives and develop real judgment and insights into a client’s markets, technology, people and management, as well as its finances, drawing on both technical knowledge and commercial experience. Assurance practice also includes a team of specialists serving the clients with specific language capabilities (for example, Japanese and Korean), focusing on Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) or Financial Services Risk and Regulatory (FSRR) in some of our markets. PwC Mainland China and Hong Kong have approximately 10,000 Assurance professionals in 27 cities. By in depth understanding of public and private companies internal operating model, we help our clients address the challenges of today’s rapidly changing world and strengthen their businesses with our professional expertise. Job description and responsibilities In Assurance you’ll work along with experienced professionals to support different client projects and gain valuable insights into our business and culture, and also have the opportunity to develop your business skills, knowledge and relationships with your colleagues and peer group. - Strong in Microsoft Offices, i.e. excel, word, power point etc.; Technical knowledge to improve audit methodology will be an advantage.
