SENIOR BEHAVIOURAL DATA SCIENTIST Up to £90,000 + Bonus Remote Ready to elevate your career to new heights? Join a team of experienced Data Scientists and Data Engineers to create impactful models and work with cutting-edge technologies. The company aims to become the world's largest digital establishment providing services based on Machine Learning models for Healthcare usecases. The Role: This role is designed for a scientist with a strong interest in comprehending behaviour and harnessing extensive data and machine learning. The core objective is to understand the behaviour behind individuals' health-related decisions, encompassing social determinants, personal beliefs, and attitudes. Your responsibilities include recognizing possibilities to enhance the collection of data on a massive scale, such as through public data, commercial vendors, and web scraping, and applying advanced machine learning techniques to expand our resources and insights to broader populations. You will have close collaboration with research scientists and engineers is essential to operationalize these innovations, enabling the generation of precise person-level insights and recommendations within our product. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Identify effective strategies for gathering and acquiring extensive behavioral data sets.
  • Collaborate with team members to deploy advanced machine learning techniques to expand our data coverage to encompass entire populations.
  • Conduct analyses and manage client projects using these innovative data resources.
  • Manage behavioral data assets as an internal product, ensuring seamless and dependable access to our most up-to-date data from across the organization.
  • Partner with Product, Client Engagement, and Business Development teams to transform our unique data into compelling solutions for our clients.
  • Integrate state-of-the-art methods from diverse sectors, both public and private, and apply them to various challenges within the healthcare domain.
  • Deliver presentations to partners and clients, and craft scientific communications for publication in journals and presentations at conferences.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • PhD level education in Behavior, Data, and/or Health subjects.
  • Proven expertise in implementing Machine Learning and clustering techniques.
  • Strong commercial experience with Python and data visualization, and proficient knowledge of Python, R, and Scala.
  • Previous commercial exposure to tools such as Keras, AWS, Databricks, TensorFlow, and Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with teams and colleagues.
